What's new in XWiki

The Blog Application 9.15.9 has been released. The release resolves a display issue affecting special characters in blog post titles within the Calendar layout of the Blog application. For more details, see the Blog Application.

The Documentation Extension 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.5.1 and 1.6 have been released. Plenty of new features were added (concept of product to be able to document several software products, a home page, landing pages, badges, navigation, search, and more). The XWiki development team is proud to announce the availability of XWiki 16.10.15. This is a bug fix release that fixes important bugs and upgrades or removes dependencies with security vulnerabilities. See the release notes for more information.

The Cristal Integration extension 1.2.0 has been released. This version updates Cristal to version 0.24.0 and adds some improvements for both external and internal Cristal instances: for an external instance, notify if there are configuration issues on the XWiki connected to, for an internal instance, add action buttons to switch to/from Cristal. This release also changed the entry point extensions, which should now be fixed, see the project's documentation to know which ones to install depending on your use-case.

The Blog Application 9.15.7 has been released. This release fixes an important security vulnerability, and it's highly recommended to upgrade.

Cristal 0.24.0 is now released. This release comes with the integration of the messages macro (e.g., error, warning, or success). They allow for users to highlight blocks of code in a uniform way, with editor support. It also includes safeguards to warn users of badly configured authentication.
